Mike Stockdale is a Plymouth-based multidisciplinary artist whose work is an ongoing journey of exploration and transformation. Rooted in a passion for sustainability and material experimentation, Mike reimagines discarded objects as compelling, interactive artworks that invite viewers to see the world anew.

Working primarily with reclaimed materials, Mike challenges the conventional boundaries of sculpture by embracing unpredictability and pushing materials to their limits. Their practice is deeply informed by a commitment to reducing waste and contributing to a more conscious, sustainable approach to making.

After completing a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Arts University Plymouth, Mike has developed an interdisciplinary practice that blends sculpture, installation, and audience participation. Their interactive works engage the public directly, encouraging hands-on exploration and personal reflection. For Mike, art becomes most powerful when it offers not just a message, but a memorable experience—one that inspires others to rethink their own relationship with creativity, sustainability, and the materials that shape our lives.
